Former Mel’s Drive-in (2007-2009), but originally Parasol Restaurant, and the last surviving one. Designed in the programmatic shape of a parasol and originally white and red outside; and decorated inside with bright colours, including hanging lamps in the shape of inverted parasols in fuschia, yellow, and blue. Appeared in the 1973 George Lucas film American Graffiti.
