Notes:

The full story of this diner, its predecessor and cousins, and the Galanis family who owned and operated them is colourful and complicated, and best laid out in Randy Garbin’s excellent Diners of New England. In brief, the original WLC here (the ill-fated Fish Tale Diner) started in Ipswitch, then was moved here in 1947 when that one was replaced with a bigger one. A later Ipswitch upgrade — the Fodero that stands here now — displaced the WLC here in 1970 when the family consolidated operations here, selling off their other interests, including two other diners.
