Originally at Wayne and Georgia Avenues, the diner was threatened by development in the 1980s, bought by Tastee owner Gene Wilkes, and moved here in June 2000.
Closed March, 2023, per multiple local news reports. It’s been purchased by a real estate development firm that plans to integrate the diner into a new “mixed-use residential space”.
