Anyone who thought it would be hard to ruin the brilliant exterior of modern-day retro-style diners need only look upon the hideous and bizarre brick-and-stucco shell thrown up around the former Loukas’ Last American Diner. Originally painted flat brown and later an even more dubious cream and cerulean.
