Originally Thompson’s Cafe, changed to Mar-T Cafe mid-1950s, then Twede’s about 1998.

Fans of Twin Peaks will remember this as the Double R Diner. (Jailhouse scenes were shot in the two-storey building across the street.) Sadly, a devastating fire in 2000 forced a major reconstruction that has rendered the cafe very different. The food and service haven’t changed, though, so you can still get cherry pie with a damn fine cup of coffee.
