Originally Eat & Run, owned by Mary Rodriguez. Purchased 1989 by Sam Yum, who still runs it with his family and their friends. Sam renamed it Village Diner, after the neighbourhood he moved to just to the south, Tallac Village, and carried on many of Eat & Run’s traditions, such as the famous Deluxe Burger, and also added some Korean influences such as the bulgogi sandwich.
