Notes:

(Not to be confused with the on-site College Park Diner still operating just a mile north on the same road.)

Eighteen people were arrested here 13 January 1962 for one of several area sit-ins organised by anti-segregation groups. There were more sit-in arrests through the first half of 1962.

The diner stood at 8205 Baltimore Avenue in College Park (US-1), on the NE corner w/ Navahoe Street, now the site of the McDonald’s that displaced it. Rather than leave it to demolition, the owner moved the diner to safe storage on his farm in Dorcaster. Reggie Godwin later purchased and moved the threatened diner to Ironsides, where it remains in good condition and available for sale.
