Previously in Yorkville, New York, before suffering a fire in 1992. Moved to current location in 1993 and operated as the Varsity Diner (2004-07), then Ken’s in 2008. Played the role of the ‘Oink Joint’ in the 2009 film Whip It, and afterwards reopened under that name. It then became El Indio de Tijuana in 2010, and La Placita in 2012, before closing again in 2014. Reopened Aug. 2019.
