This unassuming roadside smokehouse, which shares a small, nondescript building with a hairstylist, has won over many travellers and locals with its authentic wood-smoked, dry-rubbed, slow-cooked barbecue and Texas charm. Current owners Sam and Kim Barnes took over from founders Frank and Mary Weikert in 2003 and have continued the tradition.
