Likely began c. 1950 as Susie Q -or- Suzie Q Rest., owned by Elmer L. Williams; through 1954 (then owned by Joseph & Mrs. Corine Kriley). Since 1954, was a string of drive-in liquor stores with various names and owners, eventually with a brick façade. It was White Elephant Exchange by 1982, when it was photographed by John Margolies, with the brick removed. Disappeared from site sometime after that, date and disposition unknown. However, at least one later business operated at this address until at least 1991.
