Remodelled by Manno. Former Short Stop Diner. It’s rare to look at a still-beautiful diner and bemoan a tragic renovation, but the former Short Stop was even more stunning in its original 15-stool, no-booth style, with dazzling diagonal rainbow strips before the uniform red candy-cane style it’s got now, never mind the all-too-ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts awning transom completely covering the original tri-colour frieze.
