Originally a sister of Pennsville Custard Stand up the road, hence the matching yellow roof.
Custard stand opened 1949, burger stand 1955 and expanded 1973 by then-new owner (Sept. 1967) Joe Hudock, Sr.
Though famed for frozen custard, Hudock’s is also famed for food, especially the half-pound Belly Buster, still made from the original iron mould over half a century old, and served on special wide rolls custom baked by Century Bakery in Bridgeton.
