Originally operated by Bob Dye at the northwest corner of Neil Street and Springfield Avenue in Champaign, Illinois 1956-76, then sold and moved to Villa Grove, before reopening as Elite Diner in Urbana 1983-2002. Then went to Homer and Detroit. New owners Tom & Sally Ketchum got the diner and original Chuck Wagon sign (stored in Chicago for three decades), and reopened it here April 2010. Currently operated by Frank Haley.
