Barrel-roof diner of uncertain provenance. Came to New York from New Jersey in 1938, originally to Great Bend, as Vought’s Diner. Later moved to Chenango Bridge, as Chenango Bridge Diner. Moved to present site in 1979, as Vargas Diner. Long abandoned and in very bad shape. [Mike Engle, Ed Brewer]
