Previously the Blue Bird Diner at 3330 Marshall Avenue in Mattoon, Ill., it was seized and auctioned by U.S. Marhsalls following the conviction of its owners in a wide-ranging fraud scheme, then resold in Jan. 2007 to Tom Clark and John Sebeck, who bought the diner to pair with their Brownsville Drive-In cinema next door.
