Former Diamond City Diner and later Palooka’s in Wilkes-Barre. Attached kitchen, dining room, and restroom here is a former Roy Rogers. Retired streetcar out front serves ice cream. Noted for its enormous animated neon sign depicting a trolley.

Closed 15 Oct. 2019.

In July 2020, it was announced that the 1948 PCC trolley car outside the diner was given to the Fishtown Kensington Business Improvement District, who plan to reopen it as an ice cream stand outside the Fillmore in Spring 2021. The trolley last ran to Willow Grove Park in 1957, and was purchased by Trolley Car’s owner from SEPTA in the 1990s and converted to sell ice cream outside the diner.
