Started in 1979 as Omelettry West (an extension of the original on Burnet Rd.) and taken over by Kent Cole in 1987 and changed to current name (apparently based on a distorted memory of Camellia Grille in New Orleans. A second location opened in Feb. 1988 at 1920 South Congress Ave., on the southeast edge of the Bouldin neighbourhood. Claims to be open “24/8”. This claim is unverified.
